Steve Jobs co-founded Apple in 1976 and returned as CEO in 1997, leading the creation of the iMac, iPod, iPhone and iPad.

He also founded NeXT and acquired Pixar Animation Studios, helping build it into a leading force in animated film. He passed away on October 5, 2011.
