Physical Products
Eligibility for Returns
We accept returns on eligible physical products that meet all of the following conditions:
- The return request is submitted within 30 days of the delivery date
- The item is unused, unworn, and in its original condition
- All original packaging, tags, and accessories are included
- Proof of purchase is provided
Items that are damaged, altered, or show signs of use may not be eligible for return.
Non-Returnable Physical Items
For safety, hygiene, or quality assurance reasons, certain physical items may not be eligible for return. Examples include (but are not limited to):
- Perishable or consumable goods
- Final sale or clearance items
- Customized or personalized items
If an item is not eligible for return, this will be noted at the time of purchase whenever possible.
Defective or Damaged Items
If you receive a damaged or defective product, please notify us within 7 days of delivery. We may request photos or additional information to verify the issue. Upon confirmation, we will arrange a replacement or refund at our discretion.
Exchanges
Exchanges may be offered for eligible physical items when the requested replacement product is available. If an exchange cannot be fulfilled, a refund may be issued subject to the eligibility conditions above.
Return Shipping
Unless the return is due to an error on our part or a verified defect, customers are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a trackable shipping method, as we are not responsible for lost or undelivered return shipments.
Refunds for approved returns will be issued to the original payment method once the returned item is received and inspected. Processing times may vary depending on your financial institution.
Digital Services & Digital Deliverables
All Digital Services Are Non-Refundable
Boston Made provides a range of digital services — including but not limited to website development, digital strategy, consulting, hosting solutions, content creation, marketing services, cloud infrastructure services, productized service packages, and downloadable or delivered digital assets.
Because digital services involve time, expertise, intellectual property, and irreversible labor investment, and because delivery typically begins immediately upon engagement:
All digital services and digital deliverables are final sale and strictly non-refundable.
This includes situations where:
- Work has already begun
- Access has been granted
- Strategy, consulting, or implementation time has been delivered
- Digital files or assets have been shared
- A subscription or retainer period has commenced
Refunds will not be issued due to changes in business direction, internal decisions, subjective dissatisfaction, or non-use of delivered services.
Project Cancellations
If a project is canceled prior to completion, any amounts paid are non-refundable and may be applied toward time, effort, scheduling, opportunity cost, and partial or completed work already performed.
Any unpaid balances for completed or in-progress work remain due under the terms of the service agreement.
Order Errors & Billing
If you believe there has been a billing or processing error, please contact us promptly so we can review the matter. A review does not guarantee a refund but allows us to resolve discrepancies transparently and fairly.
Processing Time for Approved Refunds
Where a refund is approved under this Policy, it will be processed to the original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your financial institution.
